LEE COUNTY, GA - News release from Monsanto Fund

In a world where technology trumps all, schools often find themselves scrambling to keep up. Thanks to a local farmer and America’s Farmers Grow CommunitiesSM, Terrell Academy can add another SMART Board to its classrooms.

Grow Communities, sponsored by the Monsanto Fund, gives farmers the opportunity to win $2,500 for their favorite local nonprofit organizations. Rodney Harrell was the winning farmer in Lee County, and he chose to direct the donation to Terrell Academy.

ALBANY, GA - The next Farmer’s Market Planning meeting will be Monday, March 12 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

The meeting will be at the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce. All local farmers are invited.
